Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the LocalLoop mobile application ("the App"), operated by Misbau LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

By downloading, installing, or using the LocalLoop mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. About LocalLoop

LocalLoop is a UAE-based event discovery platform that connects event organisers with explorers across all seven emirates. The App is operated by Misbau LLC.

3. User Accounts

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.3 You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when registering.

3.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Explorer Accounts

4.1 Explorers may browse, save, and RSVP to events listed on LocalLoop free of charge.

4.2 RSVPs are subject to availability and do not guarantee entry to paid events.

4.3 You are responsible for purchasing tickets directly through the event organiser or their designated ticketing platform.

5. Organiser Accounts

5.1 Organisers must provide valid identification (Emirates ID or valid trade licence) during registration.

5.2 Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of all event information they submit.

5.3 All events submitted by organisers are subject to admin review before publication.

5.4 We reserve the right to reject any event that violates these terms or applicable UAE laws.

5.5 Organisers acknowledge and agree to our subscription and pricing terms outlined in Section 8.

6. Content Standards

You agree not to submit, post, or share content that:

  • Is false, misleading, or deceptive
  • Violates any UAE federal or emirate-level laws
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material
  • Promotes illegal activities
  • Violates public decency standards as defined under UAE law

7. Event Listings

7.1 The App may source and display events from third-party platforms including but not limited to Eventbrite and PredictHQ. These sourced events are clearly marked and linked to their original listing.

7.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy of sourced event information and are not responsible for cancellations, changes, or errors in third-party event data.

7.3 For sourced events, users should verify details directly with the original organiser before attending.

8. Subscription and Payments

8.1 Organisers receive 10 free event listings upon registration.

8.2 After the free tier is exhausted, organisers may subscribe to one of the following plans:

  • Monthly Plan: AED 183.99/month (5 event listings per cycle)
  • Annual Plan: AED 1,549.99/year (120 event listings per year)
  • Pay-per-event: AED 73.99 per individual event listing

8.3 Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

8.4 All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

8.5 Subscription renewals occur automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 The LocalLoop name, logo, and all related marks are the property of Misbau LLC.

9.2 Content submitted by users remains their property, but by submitting it you grant Misbau LLC a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content within the App.

9.3 You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 LocalLoop is a discovery platform only. We are not responsible for events themselves, including their quality, safety, cancellation, or any loss suffered as a result of attending an event.

10.2 To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Misbau LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the laws of the Emirate of Dubai.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
